Soybeans and Tofu are also good tryptophan providers, along with a range of other nutrients required to combat stress such as, calcium, magnesium, zinc, and omega-3.

Broccoli is also useful in combating stress as it contains a wide range of nutrients like Vitamin C. Vitamin C has been shown to reduce both the physical and mental symptoms of stress by regulating hormones and restoring balance in the body. Other sources of vitamin C include strawberries and peppers.

Although, these food are good sources for stress release and vital nutrients, they are not a permanent stress solution. But it won’t hurt you to sometimes take a break and eat a snack.
